博彩平台推荐 has developed a virtual desktop environment to provide active and enrolled students with access to software that is available in many computer labs on campus. Disclaimer: Please do not save files to the virtual desktop.  博彩平台推荐 is not responsible for any lost work or files.  Any work should be saved to either a network drive or an external device.

Instructions to Access the 博彩平台推荐 Virtual Computer Lab

  1. Navigate to vlab.zhanmi.net in a browser.
  2. Select "VMware Horizon HTML Access."
  3. Read and Accept the terms and agreement.
  4. Enter your 博彩平台推荐 email address and select the "Login" button.
  5. Once logged in, you will see the Virtual Labs you have access to.
  6. Select the Virtual Lab needed to proceed.
  7. If successful, you will see one of the Windows Virtual Desktops as shown in the image below. From here you will be able to access all available resources, software, and applications.
  8. Please do not save files on the virtual lab computers. We cannot guarantee you will be able to find them. 

 

ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE HORIZON CLIENT

If you have your own device, you can choose the option to install the "VMware Horizon Client" instead of using HTML access. The client has better performance and will also allow you to connect a USB storage device or share a folder on your desktop computer with the virtual desktop.

To use the client on your own device, do the following

  1. Click the "Install VMware Horizon Client" option from vlab.zhanmi.net.
  2. Download and install the appropriate client for your OS from VMware.
  3. Launch the Horizon client.
  4. Add a server and enter "vlab.zhanmi.net".
  5. Login with your 博彩平台推荐 ID credentials (username only, leave off the "@my.zhanmi.net").
  6. If authentication succeeds, you will see one or more icons for the vlab images that are available to you. Double-click on the one you wish to access.
